We continued with some community interviews and Mrs. Day visited us today in the classroom to read, answer questions and tell us a little more about what her roll is in our Hawkwood School Community! (Mrs. Day talked about a Title like a book title - her title is student support)
Please discuss at home what kinds of responsibilities you have for your job and what responsibilities everyone in your house has as part of your family community.
Today was a music day. Mrs. Smith was away, but students used music and movement to explore music vocabulary and the sound of soft to loud.
Those who forgot library books yesterday, were able to exchange today.
We continue to investigate about all the rolls and responsibilities adults have in our school community and will connect to responsibilities students have at home, at school and as part of a group or community.
We continue with number explorations, even and odd, simple addition, games and patterns and printing practice.
We're all excited for Telus Spark tomorrow - we will depart ASAP so make sure you get here on time!
