We had an opera assembly today. This time we all got a chance to hear the layout of our story and characters in words. The next step is adding the music!
We played with the number 50 today! Found lots of ways to count up to 10, ways to get to 50 counting by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's. Looked at our large chart to see that 50 is half way to 100!
We also played a large group of sight word bingo to introduce another word work activity for students.
Students previewed the book fair today. It was carefully explained that a preview doesn't mean anyone has to buy a book. Students do have an opportunity to purchase a book on Wednesday during school. You can also plan to visit the book fair before or after your student-led conference time!
