We read the book, "I have the Right to Be a Child" by Alain Serres and Aurelia Fronty. It's full of interesting Art work and made some good connections to our on-going discussions around the past or long ago and the present, or our lives in Canada today. For example - the idea that at one time in most places in the world, there was not such a thing as "childhood" or "public education" or even "libraries" and learning opportunities open to all.
We practiced logging into computers again today and worked in starfall.com . Tomorrow Mrs. Pearson is coming to introduce us to a fun keyboarding program!
Please watch for paperwork coming home about information and artifacts we would like to collect in our own "museum of our past" for our classroom!
