Hello everyone!
Reminder: This Thursday dress for a walk outside to the Crowfoot Public Library!
We're getting ready for this big celebration weekend. We've been discussing "gratitude" in a little book called, "Apple Cake"
We have created some "Autumn Trees" based on some trees in our school yard and we are working on some writing to accompany that art work
We continue with colour explorations, as we will throughout the year. Our "Autumn" colours are very different from "primary colours!"
We continue to practice with dice, subitizing, recording, and counting on from a larger number, to do simple addition up to 12.
Today we tried our 120 chart game with a skip count by 2 colour pattern and discovered that we land on coloured squares a lot more often!
We're watching our changing Autumn weather, to see if we will be adding any October snow days!
We have a Family Literacy Night approaching and have started creating West Coast Totem Pole Art to help decorate our school in a "Canadian Regions" Theme
